Tuna, black olives, capers, onion and cilantro are the perfect ingredients for a fresh and healthy burger with no unwanted fat. Great for summer time!!
2 x 170g albacore
tuna, water packed
2 tbsp cilantro,
finely minced
2 tbsp onion,
finely minced
¼ cup black
olives, sliced
1 tbsp capers
(optional)
2 tbsp lemon jus
2 tbsp light mayonnaise
Sea salt and
fresh ground black pepper to taste
4 whole wheat
burger buns or any of your choice
Chilli garlic
sauce
Lettuce or
arugula leaves
Sliced tomato
Preparation:
Place tuna in a
large bowl. Add cilantro, onion, olives, capers and mix with a fork.
Add lemon jus,
mayo, salt and pepper and combine all the ingredients together. Divide into
four parts
Cut buns in half
and toast lightly. Spread bottom half with the chilli garlic sauce. Place tuna mix on
top and set lettuce greens of your choice. Add tomato or any condiment you like
and serve.
