Goat cheese is my favourite…skinny cheese, lower in fat and calories.
These Goat cheese Lollipops are fun and tasty appetizer. I am sharing with you my choice of topping and hope you would share yours with me .
For my Goat Cheese Lollipops, I choose to make 3 variety: Pistachios, Dried peaches & Thyme and Pretzels.
Ingredients: (8 lollipops)
1 log Goat cheese, 5 oz
Pistachios, medium chopped
Dried peaches, chopped
Pretzels, medium chopped
Shape goat cheese into balls; I used a tablespoon as measurement. (If using honey, mix it with goat cheese then shape into balls).
Place in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare your toppings.
Divide goat cheese balls and coat each with pistachios, dried peaches mixed with thyme or coat with pretzels.
Insert sticks; I used colourful straws, and arrange on a bowl with lid. Place back in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
